JUST ADD INK COLOUR COMBO #60

WOW! How great is this colour combo from the super talented Delys, over at JAI. I am not normally this organised, but I just had to play as I loooooooooove these colours. Yes I know... it is not orange, but I still love these colours. They just remind me of a cute little garden, so I couldn't resist using Cottage Garden and the matching retired DSP. Pop on over to JAI and take a peek at the wonderful creations from the Design Team and the other girls entries...they are amazing!

IN MY ELEMENT...JUST STYLIN'

To steal the words of the "Great Madonna", I am just lovin' myself sick over this card!!!LOL This was a card from retreat(I was supposed to post on the weekend) that I was saving for the grand finale. I just love it, and can't wait to have that special someone to give it to. The stamp set Elements of Style rocketed up the top of my wish list after making this trifold card. Thanks Annette for the refresher on doing these and to Mercia for her stamp set.
I forgot to use the embossing buddy when using the black powder...woops learnt from that mistake. Everything on the card is embossed and it just looks amazing, I hope you like it too.

CARDS FROM RETREAT

Below are some of the cards I did on retreat. All of them were challenges of varying types which was great as it gets you out of your comfort zone at times.
The 1st card was using a stamp set and colours you would never or hardly use...what a challenge that was to most of us. Let's just say that birdy and Bravo Burgundy will never see the light of day again!!! No.2 was a kit Mads did up for us, it was amazing how different the cards were with the same supplies. No.3 was a case from the super talented Ann D, there were many variations on this great card. No.4 using Just Believe stamp set was a sketch challenge from pge 69 in the catalogue as well as the colours chosen by someone from the colour coach. Lastly No.5 was a sketch challenge from Mads and colours chosen by Megan. They were all loads of fun to do and if you would like any more details about the cards just drop me a line as there is too many to name.
I have one more card to post but I will save for tomorrow as it was just one of those cards I super loved and thought it deserved its own post!!!

Have a great day and thanks for popping in for a look. it makes my day when you let me know what you think!

I just found these saved images and realised I didn't post them last week. It is my friend Leanne's parents 50th wedding anniversary and these are the invitations I made for them. Actually they have no idea as it's a surprise so I hope they like them. They were photograhed on a cloudy day so they are really stunning IRL (yes they really are plus the 2nd rate photo skills). The hearts are stamped in gold and black and clear embossed so they look really pureeeetty!!! Thanks Shell for the loan of your heat gun, it's next on my wish list. I hope you like them.

STAMP SET : Always, Sincere Salutations

STAMP A STACK

Well I'm back only after a week from my last post AMAZIN'!!! On Saturday the girls popped around for some stamping, chatting and yummy carrot cake. We had a great afternoon and lots of variations on the cards were made, and waving to Robyn who popped around Sunday to do hers.
We did 3 each of male/female (boys/girls) birthday cards and the girls told me they liked them so I hope you do too. I won't go through all the list of products so if you would like to know anything about the cards drop me a line. They were fantastic easy layouts as they allowed me to use all those smaller pieces of card and DSP we accumulate.
I have to thank Mads for giving me the colour combo of Rich Razz, Temting Turqu & Old Olive a little while ago....it was a hit Mads.
The stamp sets we used were PARTY THIS WAY (pge 35) in clear mount and EXTREME ELEMENTS & EXTREME GUITAR (pge 52 & 53) in the catalogue. These are 2 great all round sets to have I just love them both.

Thanks for popping in and let me know what you think as it makes my day.
