MICHELLE'S RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND US!!

This is a card I made to welcome Michelle (Mege's neighbour) to Stampin' Up. I stepped up a case from Marelle Taylor and I can say I'll be popping out a few of these in different combos. I did Circle Circus as Michelle is sooooooooooo in love with it and she made a beautiful card for the girls to do at the launch with Circle Circus. I forgot to take my camera for some snaps but rest assured it was a great night. Just ask the garbage man on Monday from the sound of the bottles (deafening I hear!!!!).
Thanks Michelle for sharing the night and look forward to many a Stampin' wine night to come.

Thanks for popping in

WATERCOLOURING BABY

To all you superb watercolourers out there.... don't laugh too loud at my first attempt. I did these cards at a workshop last week as a step up to the pens and the ladies were impressed. I mentioned in a previous post they had never done it before, so easily impressed they were!!!LOL They had a choice of the Waratah or the Banksia and I did a demo on the Gum Blossom. I borrowed this set off my Mum for the day as it is not by usual style (THANKS MUM!!!). Joan the hostess asked me reeeeeeeeeeelly nicely if I could create a card for the day with Bloom Away. For a first attempt I guess it is not too bad but I will definitely be brushing up so to speak some more. For the Waratah card the
colours were Real Red, Choc Chip, Old Olive, watercolour paper, versamark. For the Banksia card Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Choc Chip, Watercolour Paper and versamark . With the watercolouring of the Banksia I used a combo of So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie. I also stamped both images with stazon ink and used aqua painter to pick up colours from my stamp pads. Choc Chip grosgrain ribbon from Fantazia at South Tweed Heads. The ladies had a great morning and thanks to Joan for a fabbo morning tea. Sorry about the Banksia photo it went balistic on me but hopefully you get the idea, actually sorry for the photography fullstop. Thanks for popping by I hope you enjoyed.

A JARRAH WITH THE GIRLS

I just crack myself up at times, I swear I've got to out do Mads with quirky headings. It really wasn't a jarrah with the girls, it was champers with the girls that live in Jarrah Place. I know, I know how good is that you say!!!! Anyhoo had a workshop for my gorgeous friend Nic the day before my 40th so it was gorgeous gifts and champers all round. The girls had a great time made a lovely card below and being so overwhelmed by all the attention hardly mentioned a thing at the workshop. Anyway the birdy got a run and I just love him, he is sooo cute. Be sure to drop in on Meges blog as she is now the proud owner of her birdy as well, so no doubt we'll be seeing some great cards done with him.

The photos are top left: the 3 consultants myself, Meges and Michelle who has just jumped on board. Above photo is Nic, myself, Michelle, and Meges. So, I did the workshop for Nic who lives next to Meges and Michelle lives next to Meges. Confused??? No, no confusion just a lot of stampin' going on in that street. We also got another neighbour Kaaren started as well. To the left is the birdy from the Good Friend set and he is a combination of a few cards I have seen around.

The colours are Pacific Point, Old Olive and So Saffron and I used Good Friend, the grass from Inspired by Nature and the saying from Garden Whimsy. The DSP is from Good Morning Sunshine.

I hope you like it and thanks to Nic for a wonderful day back in May and a big welcome to Michelle and can't wait for her launch Saturday. thanks for popping in.

WILL BE BACK SOON

To those few girls that read my blog I will return soon. Between celebrating my 40th (for 2 weeks) LOL!!! and working FULL TIME, not much time for cards. My body has gone into shock with this full time stuff boy oh boy leaves no time for anything. So to you girls who do full time and run the house etc all I can say is it's hard work and I hope you have a cleaner, ironing lady etc etc!!!! LOL Anyhoo back to normal next week and hopefully this weekend will post some cards. A little suprise will be my first attempt at watercolouring I did for a step up the card for workshop. The ladies were very impressed or so they told me anyway (they had never attemted either) so I guess anything would look good !!!!LOL So no laughing too loud for those that are amazing watercolourers.
Enough waffling so talk soon

I WAS ON A ROLL

WOW!!!! I thought I was going to do 2 posts in one day. Lucky I didn't, my head would probably be still spinning!!LOL Anyhoo we are having horrendous wind and rain at the moment and we had a blackout last night just as 2nd post was about to go on. So this is a little edited version.
The card I'm going to post is a challenge given to me by a friend to use 3 browns and a more masculine card. MMMMMMMMMM..... So I used Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Choc Chip and some of my own stitched Choc Chip ribbon with chalks and stamp pads. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out considering I normally need lotttttts of colour.

Thanks for popping in.

I will not lie girls, I could say I had bad light but it is just plain ordinary photography!!!LOL

The ingredients for this card are :
Stamp Set : Upsy Daisy
Choc Chip, Real Rust, Sage Shadow, Very Vanilla cardstock as well as markers and stamp pads. eyelet border punch, and Choc Chip grosgrain from Fantazia at Tweed heads.
