Well Keesh has come up with a great challenge which I really enjoyed doing. I must say I had 3 stamp sets picked out before I settled on this one. I always wonder if other girls do this or is it just me doing my own head in!!! Anyhoo I was happy with my card and I just love the Elegant Eggplant/Orchid Opulence combo. Even though I am the orange girl I find I use these colours often.
You need to check out my improved photo skills (room for heaps more yet), thanks to a tip from the JAI girls. It's amazing what happens when you read the instruction manual, who would have thought!!! The macro setting is my new friend!!! LOL Stay tuned for better skills yet.

A few of you may have noticed/heard I have a new blog header. I am soooooooooooooo excited!!! I won it off Paula (see link Partridge in a Pear Tree) to help launch her new business. She is amazingly talented and was very patient and so kind with my changes. Between my inspiration of I love butterflies, swirls, fave colours, orange being No.1 and can never be too bright, pretty amazing huh! She is willing to do a watermark for me so I must not have been too punishing!!!! LOL. So if any of you girls or guys out there need a fresh website or blog, Paula drop in at her website and have a chat.
Seeing I looove orange and green so much I thought I would send Paula a little thankyou. The little handbag hold 3 little boost bars standing up. I hope they arrived safe and well.

I thought I would enter the challenge over at Just Add Ink for the first time. There is some amazing work that the girls from JAI do, as well as all of the entries. So below is my "virgin" entry that I challenged myself with as well by pulling a stamp set out I haven't used in a long time. I am also trying to improve my photo skills so hopefully as time goes on they will get better each time!!!! I live in hope!!! Can you believe I am using pink in a couple of my cards??? Well get ready for a fix of orange on Friday to get me back on track!!!

I am back with my cards from my Stamp a stack I had with the girls on Saturday. Every 6 weeks we have heaps of fun, and it's amazing to see the girls talents with the variations on mine that they come up with. We did two boys cards and 3 different colours of the girls cards(that only came about cause I ran out of purple, really should check these things!!!). It was meant to be as the other colour combinations were nice to mix it up.

The Easter Bunny treat box was with Cameo Coral, Choc Chip and Whisper White, Walk in the Park DSP and punches. He was fun to do!!


The girls card I got the idea from the very talented Kirsty Brown (I had to remember it from retreat) using Crazy for Cupcakes. A big thanks to Madonna for the loan of her stamp sets.

It's amazing what happens when you are inspired!!! Two posts in one day, more than I've done in the last year. I thought I would show you some cards from retreat. The 1st photo is our shoe box swaps, there is a couple of them missing in action.
The 2nd card is done with Inspired By Nature which was a colour challenge. We were using Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Old Olive and Barely Banana. This challenge took me 10 min to do and 5 hours of doing my head in. We were all trying to use different stamp sets and this I thought of straight away, until I saw Tina using the stamp set. Anyhoo... long story short our cards were nothing alike and I loved how it turned out. Tina did an amazing job of hers.
The 3rd card is my cute Easter Bunny shoe box swap. I used Choc Chip, Whisper White Sweet Always DSP, Scallop Circle, Scallop Oval, Wide Oval, Scallop Edge punches.
