WATERCOLOURING BABY
To all you superb watercolourers out there.... don't laugh too loud at my first attempt. I did these cards at a workshop last week as a step up to the pens and the ladies were impressed. I mentioned in a previous post they had never done it before, so easily impressed they were!!!LOL They had a choice of the Waratah or the Banksia and I did a demo on the Gum Blossom. I borrowed this set off my Mum for the day as it is not by usual style (THANKS MUM!!!). Joan the hostess asked me reeeeeeeeeeelly nicely if I could create a card for the day with Bloom Away. For a first attempt I guess it is not too bad but I will definitely be brushing up so to speak some more. For the Waratah card the
colours were Real Red, Choc Chip, Old Olive, watercolour paper, versamark. For the Banksia card Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Choc Chip, Watercolour Paper and versamark . With the watercolouring of the Banksia I used a combo of So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie. I also stamped both images with stazon ink and used aqua painter to pick up colours from my stamp pads. Choc Chip grosgrain ribbon from Fantazia at South Tweed Heads. The ladies had a great morning and thanks to Joan for a fabbo morning tea. Sorry about the Banksia photo it went balistic on me but hopefully you get the idea, actually sorry for the photography fullstop. Thanks for popping by I hope you enjoyed.
