I no, I no!!! It's been forever...3 months in fact, YEEKS!!! I can't really say where I've been or what I've been doing, but I'm back. I am lucky only a handful of you read my blog, although it could be none seeing it has been that long. Anyhoo I had a long over due play with a fabbo colour combo from the super talented girls over at JAI. Pop on over and check out the girls gorgeous designs and the entries for this week. My card ended up nothing like I had in my head to do but I hope you like it!!!

Good morning on this very wet miserable day today. Looks like a great card making day today as I have finished the housework (to my liking that is!!!). I did a quick whip up of these 2 little love notes with my wonderful birdie punch. They are eazy peazy and are great if you need a very quick card, you could also do it as a full size card as well.
It is nice to play with some of my new goodies again.

The girls over at JAI have come up with a nice earthy colour combo, as soon as I feasted my eyes on the colours I couldn't wait to play!!! You must take a look at the Design Team submissions, they are amazing.
Below is my creation...but I have a confession to make. There was not a scrap of Barely Banana in my stash so I had to use So Saffron. I hope this is OK girls.
I know I am yonkers behind everyone else but I got all my newbies yesterday so I had my 1st play with the birdie punch....I LOVE IT!!! Sadly no Big Shot yet but my birthday is soon, so my wonderful hubby may come good there!!! I have dropped enough not so subtle hints!!! Stay tuned for lots more new(old for everyone else) creations with new colours and stamps.

Well Keesh has come up with a great challenge which I really enjoyed doing. I must say I had 3 stamp sets picked out before I settled on this one. I always wonder if other girls do this or is it just me doing my own head in!!! Anyhoo I was happy with my card and I just love the Elegant Eggplant/Orchid Opulence combo. Even though I am the orange girl I find I use these colours often.
You need to check out my improved photo skills (room for heaps more yet), thanks to a tip from the JAI girls. It's amazing what happens when you read the instruction manual, who would have thought!!! The macro setting is my new friend!!! LOL Stay tuned for better skills yet.
